Dwayne Johnston is a senior engineering executive with a proven track record of assembling and building strong sustainable design teams dedicated to results.  He is a senior professional engineer with over 25 years of experience as a dynamic, accomplished business and community leader in Calgary.  He has extensive hands-on strategic and management experience in a diverse array of established and new businesses, government agencies, and community organizations across Canada.  His experience encompasses all stages of project procurement, design, project and construction management – from concept through to commissioning, operations and maintenance - always with the result of effective project delivery and client satisfaction.  He has assembled and fostered strong sustainable engineering teams in the public sector, in the construction industry, and the consulting engineering industry. Dwayne has a proven track record of having brought together high-functioning teams in a collaborative setting built on integrity, trust and results. It is his responsibility to build a strong and sustainable organization, make the team exceptional at project delivery while empowering strong leadership across all levels - enabling great people to have a rewarding future.

Douglas Clark is a senior civil engineer for InfraCor. Doug has over 35 years of experience in the planning, design and construction administration for land resources, recreational, municipal and general land development projects throughout Alberta and British Columbia, and across Canada. Over the last 20 years, he has concentrated on offering services to both the municipal and private development industry sectors.  Doug’s experience includes design and construction administration for water supply, treatment and distribution projects as well as wastewater collection, treatment and disposal projects for both municipal and private developments.  He has also been involved in the creation of stormwater management strategies, low impact development, water, wastewater, roads and storm sewer design and construction for subdivision development in both an urban and rural setting.

Dave Stusek has over 15 years of professional experience in the land development industry.  He leads the Calgary land development group managing and delivering a wide variety of land and civil site development projects in the Calgary region and across Western Canada. He is dedicated to the principles of sustainability in the land form and is a specialist in land development projects that include developing strategic policy, financial & engineering feasibility analyses, municipal approval processes, development agreements, as well as engineering and construction project management. Dave has successfully led the growth of several land development design teams and now manages the land development team in our Calgary office.

Tibor is InfraCor's Senior Design Technologist with nearly 10 years experience. Tibor brings experience in large scale land development and transportation project design and drafting. Tibor guides the development of the design model, as well as providing guidance to intermediate and junior team members. With the benefit of a broader range of experience than most land development technologists, Tibor’s approach to large multi-disciplinary teams makes him one of the most valuable assets on any team that he belongs to.

John MacKenzie has over 35 years’ experience in municipal engineering with specialized technical water resources experience in urban drainage involving:

  • Stormwater management

John has been responsible for managing and providing engineering services to a wide range of private industry clients, government agencies and utilities, both in Canada and internationally. His specific technical experience ranges from stormwater management through hydraulic and hydrological investigations, economic evaluation of flood control and water supply projects, water quality assessments and fisheries habitat enhancement, to generation planning and system operation studies for large hydroelectric utilities. He has also held Adjunct Professor status at both the University of Edmonton and the University of Calgary.

John has successfully completed numerous assignments pertaining to the economic solution of storm drainage problems for areas subject to environmental and regulatory agency constraints. John will approach each project as an individual with his extensive experience to guide his efforts, considering carefully each proposed activity. Particularly at land use redesignation, the decisions made early in the process can have profound impacts on the project cost, approval period and the long-term viability of the project.

The selected studies featured herein involved computer simulation of existing and post development conditions, environmental impact assessment, flood control, floodplain delineation and design of pipe systems, stormwater detention lakes, sediment removal basins and outfall structures. The projects provided herein indicate John’s talent for focusing on the client’s vision and the bottom line.

Ruth Roxburgh

Dr. Ruth Roxburgh is a water and wastewater process expert whose experience highlights an ability to quickly understand new technologies and apply engineering and process fundamentals to a wide range of applications. She has worked on projects ranging from municipal and industrial water treatment, recycled water systems, wastewater and sludge treatment, sulphur removal and co-generation, polymer hydration for industrial applications, solid/liquid separation using a range of technologies from clarification, centrifuges and membranes, wastewater Biox and solids management systems, treatment of hydrocarbon contaminated groundwater, vapour oxidation and thermal extraction for contaminated soil. Ruth has also been involved in a number of pilot and R&D projects including organic membranes, ceramic membranes, renewable energy, co-generation systems, sulphur removal and ultrasound. She brings a Ph.D. in advanced anaerobic digestion and biogas production, which she carried out with United Utilities, one of the UK’s largest utility companies. Ruth has developed patentable technologies for wastewater treatment, frac water, polymer hydration, hydrocarbon contaminated groundwater that have been applied at full scale installations.
